This is a simple and delicious basic tomato sauce recipe from scratch.
Ingredients
about a dozen medium-large RIPE tomatoes
1 medium yellow onion chopped fine
2 gloves of garlic chopped or pressed
a splash of olive oil (about 2-3 tablespoons)
Fresh Basil
2-3 bay leaves
